Where to Ask for Records or Custody Help

For local Martin County custody questions, start with the jail or sheriff contact that matches the request. Martin County does not operate a standalone county jail in Williamston for local custody. The local jail route is Bertie-Martin Regional Jail in Windsor.

Use these paths for the most common questions:

• For someone believed to be in local jail custody, use jail inmate records and then call Bertie-Martin Regional Jail if the online path does not answer the question.
